Last week-end I was on the Gorée island in Senegal where I had the chance to teach a two days Processing workshop, which was part of the second barcamp organized there. Beyond the climate changes (from freezing to burning), I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of people who attended the first day.

The session happened in one of the classrooms of the Mariama Bâ school and it was far too small to contain everyone. Some participants were standing outside, watching through the windows. All in all, everyone was motivated to learn the basics of Processing and the feedback was extremely positive. Special thanks for Mamadou Diagne and the OIF for having made this happen !
